Some of the work on the dreadnought

So here's some of the pics from the dreadnought - it is very WiP in these and the pics are a couple of weeks out, but there will be more this work weekend and with new Vallejo's coming soon to finish it!

These are from the basics I had in mind and then I changed and added a white shoulder as well as there was too much black, and I never thought I'd say that.

This has reminded me how much I hate painting white on black, so from now it's a case of no/white/light colours for the undercoat when I pick up figures to paint.

With Grey Knights and an Eldar Avatar coming when I get this finished and dropped off I am thinking about them too.

Grey Knights will be Non-Metallic Metal perhaps on a squad plinth base.

Eldar Avatar will not be the classic molten look that I see everywhere, I know its basically the lore colours but I want a more demonicy edge to it so I want to go with a green warp stone core with black stone over the top, and I want the green to be the light source so I can play with colours a lot more.
